AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE #38-08, SECTION 1 WAGES AND SALARIES TO INCLUDE THE FULL TIME POSITION OF PUBLIC SERVICES LABORER; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS the Village has previously established through Ordinance the position of Public Service Laborer as a part time classification within the Department of Public Service; and

WHEREAS Village Council has identified a need to provide for the position of Public Service Operator as a full time classification in addition to the current part time classification within the Department of Public Service; and

WHEREAS the Village Council is of the opinion that modification ought to be made to Ordinance #38-08 to include the position of Public Service Laborer as a full time classification within the Public Service Department. 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SEBRING, MAHONING COUNTY, OHIO:

Section 1:        That Ordinance #38-08 Section 1 Wages and Salaries is hereby amended in part to include the position set forth below:

Public Services Laborer (full-time)                             $12.20 hr.                   

Section 2:        That any provisions of Ordinance #38-08 which are not specifically amended herein, including wages and salaries for full time employees and salaried officials, shall remain in full force and effect.
           
Section 3:        That it is FOUND and DETERMINED that all formal actions of this Council relating to the passage of this Ordinance or adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all deliberations of this Council, and of any of its committees which resulted in such formal actions were made in compliance with all legal requirements, including those of section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code, all pursuant to Section 3.11 of the Charter of the Village of Sebring.

Section 4:        That this Ordinance is hereby determined to be an EMERGENCY MEASURE necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the Municipality of Sebring, Ohio and for the further reason that the same is necessary to ensure the timely appointment of personnel.
