A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TWO CANDIDATES TO THE MAHONING COUNTY TAX INCENTIVE REVIEW COUNCIL FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2007

WHEREAS Mahoning County has established an Enterprise Zone in Sebring to offer tax incentives within the Village; and

WHEREAS the Tax Incentive Review Council convenes annually to monitor all companies with an enterprise zone agreement in effect; and

WHEREAS the Village of Sebring has been requested to make two appointments to the Tax Incentive Review Council to represent the Village at its annual meeting on March 12, 2007.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SEBRING, MAHONING COUNTY, OHIO:

Section 1:        That the Village Council hereby appoints Councilmember Terry Frasher and Municipal Manager Doug Burchard to the Mahoning County Tax Incentive Review Council to represent the Village of Sebring for the 2007 Calendar year.

Section 2:        That it is FOUND and DETERMINED that all formal actions of this Council relating to the passage of this Resolution are adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all deliberations of this Council, and of any of its committees which resulted in such formal actions were made in compliance with all legal requirements, including those of section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code, all pursuant to Section 3.11 of the Charter of the Village of Sebring.
