A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL MANAGER TO PREPARE AND SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OHIO PUBLIC WORKS COMMISSION STATE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AND TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS AS REQUIRED FOR THE
JOHNSON ROAD SANITARY SEWER
 IMPROVEMENT  PROJECT.

WHEREAS the State Capital Improvement Program provides financial assistance to political subdivisions for capital improvements to the public infrastructure; and

WHEREAS the Village of Sebring is planning to make capital improvements to the Johnson Road Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project; and

WHEREAS the infrastructure improvement herein above described is considered to be a priority need for the community and is a qualified project under the OPWC State Capital Improvement Program.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SEBRING, MAHONING COUNTY, OHIO:

Section 1:        That the Municipal Manager is hereby authorized to apply to the Ohio Public Works Commission for funding for the Johnson Road Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project;

Section 2:        That the Municipal Manager is further authorized to enter into any agreements as may be necessary and appropriate for obtaining this financial assistance.

Section 3:        That the Municipal Manager is hereby designated as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer and Jon Vollnogle is designated Project Manager for the Johnson Road Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project;
 
Section 2:        That it is FOUND and DETERMINED that all formal actions of this Council relating to the passage of this Resolution or adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all deliberations of this Council, and of any of its committees which resulted in such formal actions were made in compliance with all legal requirements, including those of section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code, all pursuant to Section 3.11 of the Charter of the Village of Sebring.
