A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE PETITION OF DON CONNY, OWNER OF THE LOG CABIN, TO THE STATE LIQUOR BOARD WHEREAS the Village Council has been requested by Mr. Don Conny, owner of the Log Cabin Bar located at 155 North 15th Street to endorse his petition to the State Liquor Board to reinstate his permit allowing Sunday beer only sales; and WHEREAS the Village Council recognizes that Mr. Don Conny has, for the past three years operated a respectable and well regarded business downtown. WHEREAS Mr. Don Conny had previously been allowed Sunday beer only sales under a previous D-3 liquor license, but had lost this ability when his license was transferred to a D-5 liquor license. WHEREAS other establishments in the downtown area are already permitted Beer only sales on Sunday. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SEBRING, MAHONING COUNTY, OHIO: Section 1: That the Sebring Village Council hereby expresses its support of Mr. Don Conny and endorses his effort to obtain from the Ohio State Liquor Board a license permitting Sunday beer only sales. Section 4: That it is FOUND and DETERMINED that all formal actions of this Council relating to the passage of this Ordinance or adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all deliberations of this Council, and of any of its committees which resulted in such formal actions were made in compliance with all legal requirements, including those of section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code, all pursuant to Section 3.11 of the Charter of the Village of Sebring.
