A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE MUNICIPAL MANAGER TO CERTIFY WEED AND GRASS REMOVAL CHARGES TO THE MAHONING COUNTY AUDITOR FOR COLLECTION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the provisions of both Sections 731.54 of the Revised Code of Ohio and Section 553.04 of the Codified Ordinances of the Municipality of Sebring authorize the certification of weed and grass removal expenses to the County Auditor for collection against the real estates served; and

WHEREAS , the Municipal Manager has advised the Council of the existence of such unpaid weed and grass removal assessments;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SEBRING, MAHONING COUNTY, OHIO:

SECTION 1: That the Municipal Manager is hereby authorized and directed to certify the expenses of weed and grass removal listed below to the Mahoning County Auditor for collection on the real estate taxes of the properties mowed as shown below, to wit:

SECTION 2: That the Municipal Manager is hereby directed to forthwith deliver a certified copy of this Resolution to the Mahoning County Auditor for assessment.

SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an EMERGENCY MEASURE, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the Village of Sebring, Ohio

SECTION 4: That it is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council relating to the passage of this Resolution were adopted in open meetings of this Council; and that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its Committees which resulted in such formal actions were made in compliance with all legal requirements, including those of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code, all pursuant of Section 3.11 of the Charter of the Municipality of Sebring.
