TITLE ONLY PURSUANT TO SECTION 4.07 OF THE CHARTER:	YES/NO

A RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN WATER AND SEWER BILLS UNCOLLECTIBLE;    AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Sebring has certain water and sewer charges that have been on the books for several years; and

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Sebring has determined that some of these charges were disputed over the years; and

WHEREAS, said charges are deemed uncollectible; and

WHEREAS, it is advantageous to remove said charges from current computer records.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SEBRING, MAHONING COUNTY, OHIO:

SECTION 1:  That the following accounts and charges are hereby declared uncollectible and written off as bad debts:

SECTION 2:  That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an EMERGENCY MEASURE, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;

WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage in accordance with the provisions of Section 4.08 of the Charter of the Municipality of Sebring.

SECTION 3:  That it is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council; and that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its Committees; and of the Planning Commission, if necessary, which resulted in such formal actions were made in compliance with all legal requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, all pursuant of Section 3.11 of the Charter of the Municipality of Sebring.

SECTION 4:  Any notice authorized to be given under this Resolution shall refer to this Resolution by number and codification, when available.
