A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE LOCATION OF A TANK BATTERY FOR THE WELL HEAD LOCATED AT 16TH STREET AND FLORIDA AVENUE

WHEREAS the Village of Sebring has previously entered into a gas well lease agreement with Great Lakes Energy, Inc. to develop a gas well located at 16th and Florida Avenue; and

WHEREAS the Village of Sebring wishes to address concerns by neighboring residents by clarifying the location of the well head tank battery.

WHEREAS the Village of Sebring has met with neighborhood representatives and representatives for Great Lakes Energy, Inc. and determined a mutually acceptable location for the tank battery for the gas well located at 16th and Florida Avenue.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SEBRING, MAHONING COUNTY, OHIO:

Section 1:        That the Village Council hereby approves placing the gas well tank battery at a location south of Texas Avenue as shown in attachment “A”.

Section 2:        That it is FOUND and DETERMINED that all formal actions of this Council relating to the passage of this Resolution or adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all deliberations of this Council, and of any of its committees which resulted in such formal actions were made in compliance with all legal requirements, including those of section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code, all pursuant to Section 3.11 of the Charter of the Village of Sebring.
